First and foremost, I am a wife and mother. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 20 years now. Yes, that makes me somewhat old, but we won't talk about that. I have three wacky, crazy, but lovable kids. My oldest son is 16. My second child is a boy, and he is 13 and I have a six month old baby girl. I know what you're thinking. Yes, it was a surprise, but a very happy one. We never thought we would have a girl; so, she is our little miracle in more ways than one.
Our family now lives in North Carolina. We moved from Rhode Island to NC about three years ago for my husband's job. At first it was quite an adjustment, but we love it here.
I spend my days taking care of my little girl, and keeping my two teenage boys on the straight and narrow, which is no easy task. I used to teach back in Rhode Island, but now I stay at home and write. I love to write children's stories, and I even published a children's book called "Tea for Honey". I'm not rich, and I'm not famous, but I got a roof over my head, a family that loves me for the crazy woman that I am, and God that leads me everyday even when the burdens are heavy. I would say that's a pretty good life.
